Caribou!

After simply driving 5 hours, biking in 13 miles, hiking countless miles, camping four nights, killing caribou, field dressing it, hiking back, hauling meat out by bike on trailer, driving back, butchering it...we have caribou.

Seems like this blog is light on Agnes lately.

This is not the outfit I picked out for her.

But I don't have the genius of a 15-month-old.

Schuledays

The whole fam went to Rilke's open house this week. Irene was excited to finally see the school and Agnes liked running around in the gym. Evangeline's first week was a success, and she isn't nearly as tired as we are.

I had almost forgotten about this.

Playgrounds are very different now. I thought since it was a school playground there would be metal monkey bars, slides, and a tether ball pole.

Who on earth has a kid color a banana green? Germans, that's who!

Evangeline has school spirit. In a brilliant sister-copying move, irene found one of those coasters and taped one up by her bed too.

In unrelated news, we have a couch!!
