Last Night In St Louis (for some of us)

We've enjoyed our last day in St Louis. We went to the Church of the Reformation and got to say goodbye to the Feuerhahns, Henry Gerike and Professor Lewis. Tomorrow we'll leave here at 4:30am to catch a flight to Chattanooga to spend a couple of days with Grandma and Grandpa. Kyle will finish the moving and drive to Greensboro, set things up there, then meet us in Asheville for a visit, then all three of us will drive to our new home! We are excited and a bit sad and a bit nervous and a lot thankful for everything.

Evangeline just gave her dad a birthday card...

Happy Birthday, Kyle!
Sorry your birthday will require you to get up at 4am to drive us to the airport, spending all day moving and then cleaning and driving for 13 hours. We love you.

One Last Trip...

We took a quick trip up to Chebanse, Illinois for the Mietzner Family Reunion. Evangeline got to met her great-grandpa Fritz, see her auntie Jessie, and meet other Mietzner relatives at long last.

Considering showing us her new rolling over moves (she doesn't).
Great-Grandma Mietzner! Have I changed in 4 months?

St Louis Days

I'll admit to getting a bit nostalgic for St Louis these last days we are here. Evangeline doesn't seem to care, and just loves having Grandma and Grandpa Mietzner here.

Morning with grandpa and bonnet grandma made (it matches with her Easter dress and pinafore).

With Chaplain Stein after chapel.

At dinner.

Grand Day

Grandparents are here!
Evangeline was a little tired, but managed some laughs for peek-a-boo.

And, Evangeline went to the doctor today. Again, the biggest cry was for the tylenol before the shots, and she only cried for a few seconds. And she weighed in at 15lbs 15oz. I should have fed her before we went in to make the 16. The doctor said she looks good but did not comment on her exceptional cuteness. But we already knew that.

Yawn-y Jump-Up

This could be the most boring Johnny Jump-Up demo ever.
