A Note On Yesterday's Post

Yesterday's post was titled "Tyttö Tanssii". That means "the girl dances"  in Finnish. My grandparents taught me Finnish when I was a little girl by saying phrases like "tyttö laulaa" (the girl sings), "aurinko paistaa" (the sun shines), lintu laulaa (the bird sings), etc., and I would act them out. I'd like to do that with Evangeline, and seeing her dance made me think of that. Thanks, Grandma and Pappa. Kiitoksia paljon.

Busy Day, Goodnight.

Today Evangeline was busy with pulling things from the bottom shelves, getting stuck under tables and chairs, locating every cord in the house, playing during nap and such. The Girl sleeps now, surely to dream up a way to finally get those remotes.

A Note to Great Uncle John Sundstrom

Thank you for securing the fireplace grate. It's pretty much all I want to play with.  I will always think of you as my Grate Uncle John.
