Sunday

Evangeline is starting to own Bible study.
Just wait till I can walk, people.
Crystal and her son Juelz were baptized today!

Hooray! (I think I heard Kyle say "Oh, so twins would be easy!" as he held these two).

Transparency of Youth

Today I found Evangeline doing two (ok, more than two, but these two stood out) things she's not supposed to do: play with the remote and touch the fireplace.

I caught her with the remote because I was in the other room and I heard her giggling. When I came in, she was giggling and pushing the buttons like crazy.
I caught her about to touch the fireplace because she was whining with her hand about 6 inches above it, looking back at me.
Handy.

She is also not supposed to grab the blinds, but there was exciting stuff going on outside.
This is a new squinchy smile she's doing. This is only half the real thing. Usually her eyes are totally closed.
Aha! Teeth!

Vacation Photos...

We really did do more than wash clothes and dishes.

Mom and Dad were more into the history lesson than The Girl was. Yes, I did buy this hat specifically for our trip (straw hat season is out). And yes it did match almost exactly the hat of a statue of Orville Wright, thank you.
She was more into crawling around in the sand than we were.

And she didn't seem to mind wet cuffs. Yuk. She would have sat in the water if we had let her.

The clever hunter was quite camouflaged as she hunted sea gull.
She loved the pool. Even if it did mess up her comb-over.
Trying to catch up to dad.
Riiiiight....there.
Score.
After I saw her eat a handful of sand, I thought "Ha, she won't do that again."

Just one more, then I'm done.

Sandisfaction.

Saying Goodbye

Our little vacation was great. However, it was hard to say goodbye to some wonderful friends we made there:

Kitty Hawk

Plus Evangeline's ten-month photo.

Hang on Bear, this could be a short but significant ride.
