Today Evangeline spent some time with grandma as her parents went out to see a movie and do a little shopping. In other news, her hair was weird all day and she was showing off her new crinkly smile a lot. And she ate a lot of bread.

We went to Charlotte today in order to fulfill one of grandma's fantasies.

We also made a trip to our favorite Scandinavian furnitury store. This was Evangeline's third trip to the blue and yellow heaven.

She thinks she is Swedish.

We made a visit to the famed swing today.

Closing Time

We closed on the house today. 1218 E. Washington is our new address and we're ever so excited to get in there...maybe in February?  Though it seems far off, Evangeline was pretty pleased.

Going in the front door with champagne (ok, sparkling wine) and keys. Mom and Louise came with us to celebrate.

Later mom took us out for a celebratory dinner at Natty Greene's. Evangeline took the celebration to a new  level by drinking out of a straw.
