We went to Asheville today to see mom, grandmother, great grandmother.

Thanks to all our moms.

Opera Lover

This is from our Biltmore trip. There was some sort of performance of random Opera songs going on at some point, which Kyle and I kind of ignored. We didn't realize that Evangeline was watching with her Aunt Carol, transfixed by every note.

After the singing a woman did a demonstration of Sevillana dancing, which Evangeline was pretty good at, too.

We went to a silent auction dinner this evening for Ellee's choir. Evangeline scoped out an item quite early, and edged out all other bidders. You can't really see it in this photo, but its a carved wooden kitty cat. She charmed everyone there by showing off her walking skills. I must also admit that I am probably a sucker for silent auctions. I got a hand made piece of pottery.
