Hanging Out Again

Here's a little video of Evangeline and her dad hanging out the other day while I was at the doctor. Back when it was still cool enough to wear a jacket.

Ugh.

Our camera is out of charge, and no one has managed to find the cord. But the excitement of the day was when I took Evangeline for a walk at the Battleground and locked my keys, phone, etc. in the car. Luckily, I had decided the other day that I'd better memorize Kyle's phone number. And luckily he answered (and someone let me use their phone). So, he came and rescued us, but not until after we'd taken a walk in the yucky 82-degree weather while The Girl astutely identified birds, trees, squirrels, doggies and babies.

We had a nice but too short visit with grandma and grandpa M. We got to go see a movie and eat out while Evangeline got to have fun without her grouchy mom ruining everything (as pictured below in a photo taken by her grandparents).

Total Domination of the Huggies Box

This blog has previously lamented the ubiquity of Huggies boxes in photos.

Evangeline got the upper hand on the Huggies box today.

Evangeline speaks for us all in this picture. You see, the last two days the high in Greensboro was 60 degrees.  60. Our walk one day was 90, and the next day it was 60. Hooray. It is supposed to get a bit warmer later this week, but that hasn't stopped us from smiling about 60 a lot.
