Grandma leaves early tomorrow morning. We'll all miss her, but since she'll be back with grandpop in a couple of months, Evangeline found the strength to help her pack. See you in February, Grandma!
Evangeline is a seasoned traveller and skeptical of Grandma's packing technique.
Is this helping, Grandma?
Hi mom.
One last bath...
...and bubble beard.

We had a great time in Asheville and are excited to return on Wednesday. Thanks everyone! Somehow we ended up with no camera in Asheville (thanks to Carol for yesterday's blog pictures). So here's one from the beach last month.
We drove to Asheville today to see Family Schell and the Biltmore Estate. Evangeline found it all quite impressive, and was the toast of the Biltmore House in her zebra hat.
Evangeline thinks it's ok that the Christmas decorations are up already. But she's young yet.
Since mom got here, I've been having very leisurely mornings. Evangeline wakes up, I go out and make coffee, mom takes her, I go back to bed. I think I might have to get a nanny from 7-9am after she leaves. Anyway, Evangeline and mom spend the morning going outside, watching cartoons, and playing in the kitchen. Then she's very happy and fed and tired when I get to her. I'd better not get used to this.
Here are some pictures from Grandma's camera of their morning fun.
Today was rainy and cloudy. We stayed in all day until we went out for barbecue at night. Evangeline's book of the day (which just means she picked that one out of the the stack she pulled off the shelf) was Where the Wild Things Are. And she and grandma went out to find some big leaves on the lawn. Also, I remember the day we received this outfit from Aunt Punky. It is a twelve month outfit, and I felt like the day she would fit it was so far away. Good thing I took it out and tried it on her, because it just fits perfectly today.
Is Maci Mae Miller. She was born on November 6. Congratulations Millers. Sorry I didn't post this earlier...we love you!
Here's the only picture that got taken today. (Maybe that's because grandma and Evangeline spent the early morning together while Kyle and I slept in!) We made a trip to the baby store to get some new Evangeline-sized onesies. She also scored some other stuff from grandma, including a red ball that she's good at throwing and biting.
