Playland Myomectomy

I ventured in to the Chik-fil-A the other day with the kids. It had been a while since Evangeline wasn't really cooperating anymore, due to the extreme closeness of the playland. You will be pleased to know that they both ate their food and then went to play without much griping.

After nearly 30 minutes of encouragement, she finally climbed up the entrance into the glorious playland.

Ellee's myomectomy was successful. The fibroid was about 8 inches across, nearly spherical, weighing in at 510 grams. She is resting and recovering in the hospital. Thanks for your prayers.

Four Steps Forward

No, of course we did not get a picture or video, but Irene took four super-toddlery steps today, right in front of all of us. We were amazed. She didn't do it again.

Birthday 3!

As you know, Evangeline turned 3 today (yes, Christmas happened too and we did a whole bunch of fun stuff, and I will put up pictures. It's just, well, I'm barely keeping up, so, we'll just do the birthday for now). We had a fun party with lots of friends, and everyone had a good time. Evangeline's only nutrition today was purple M&Ms and cupcakes, so we think she did it right. Happy Birthday, Girl!
