Fun Fourth

We dutifully went down to the "Fun Fourth" doings in downtown Greensboro today. It was extremely hot. We saw some of our neighbors there, ate a snowball, and listened to some music. We didn't really stay that long because it was so hot, but now we know what Greensboro gets up to on the Fourth. We'll probably go and eat a snowball next year.

Downtown. (And there is a smudge on the camera lens
I keep meaning to clean off.)
Going through the sprayer.
Much better.

Deciding whether to dance.

Um...
Found some kids to play with

Wondering if his dad is seriously going to let
this girl hassle him.
Yep.

  1. I'm guessing she was the cutest girl at the festivities!

  2. Happy Independence Day! We did many of the same things today, except we stayed at home because it was cold and rainy. And no sprayer or dancing or playing with a beachball. We did have a snowball, except it was banana creme pie. We had fireworks, courtesy of the neighbors and an apparent 50,000-pack of firecrackers. And a good time was had by all.

Looks like y'all had a hot time on the ol' town. I love the pic of Evangeline and Kyle in the sprayer. Cautiously enjoyable.

  3. Looks like a fun fourth, except for the heat of course.
We agree with the Tenn Grands--it's obvious.
    Love from AK grands.
