Eating

Evangeline eats anything. Mostly, though, I'd say she'd choose cheese and yogurt. All the time. Today she ate some falafel with tahini and a bunch of her dad's gyro. Anyway, now she's trying to use a fork which might just be the most frustrating thing ever to watch. But for every frustrating mealtime she manages to stab a couple pieces of peanut butter bread or cheese and actually get it in her mouth. Pretty much it's just messy and hard to watch.
As for the pacifier situation, it's like she never had one. We were talking tonight about what we expected her to do, and decided that the only thing she could have done to make this go smoother was to write us a letter telling us that she didn't need it anymore, pacifier enclosed. Good job, girl. I retain the right to give her pacifier back should the need arise.

  2. Ooooooooo. Falafel and gyro. Those sound delightful. Maybe you'd better introduce her to the toilet soon, though. Sounds.... smelly.

(She probably uses the toilet when you're not looking, anyway.)
